1. These terms may have changed since you last reviewed them.

2. Where to find information about us and our services
2.1. We, Music Academy Midlands Ltd, provide a week-long music camp called “Rockschool,” where parents or guardians may sign up their child (school aged from reception (must be over 5 to year 11 only) for a week of immersive music learning and performance activities. Rockschool runs during school holidays and includes learning and rehearsing musical instruments, band practice, songwriting, recording sessions, and a final live performance.
2.2. Rockschool generally runs from Monday to Friday, with sessions typically lasting from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Extended hours may be available for an additional fee, extending the day from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Availability of these extended hours will be confirmed at the time of booking.
2.3. Rockschool is a specialised activity camp focused on music education. It is not classified as childcare, and as such, childcare vouchers cannot be accepted as payment for Rockschool sessions.
2.4. All instruments and necessary equipment for Rockschool sessions will be provided by us. However, if your child wishes to bring their own instrument, they are welcome to do so. Any personal instruments brought to Rockschool are at your own risk, and we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss, unless caused by the negligence of our staff.
2.5. Our instructors are professional musicians who undergo regular safeguarding training and hold up-to-date DBS checks.
2.6. More information about our services, including FAQs and program specifics, can be found on our website or by contacting our team directly. We confirm key information to you in writing after you sign up, either by email, in your online account, or on paper.
3. When you sign up for Rockschool, you are agreeing that:
3.1. We only accept your request to sign up once we've confirmed availability.
3.2. Sometimes we may reject sign-up requests (see below).
3.3. The contract will continue until the end of the Rockschool week or until terminated by us.
3.4. You can cancel your booking (find out how).
3.5. We're not responsible for delays outside our control.
3.6. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed (e.g., payment plans).
3.7. We may charge interest on late payments.
3.8. We pass on increases in VAT.
3.9. You're responsible for ensuring the details you provide are accurate.
3.10. We may need to charge you if you don't provide us with necessary information.
3.11. You have a legal right to change your mind (see below).
3.12. You have rights if there is something wrong with our service.
3.13. We can change services and these terms.
3.14. We can suspend services (and you have rights if we do).
3.15. We can withdraw services.
3.16. We can end our contract with you under specific conditions.
3.17. We don't compensate you for all losses caused by us or our services.
3.18. We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Notice.
3.19. You have several options for resolving disputes with us.
3.20. Other important terms apply to our contract.
4. We only accept your request to sign up to our services when we've checked them.
We will contact you to confirm we've received your sign-up request. Your booking is only confirmed once we have verified availability and sent a confirmation email.
5. Sometimes we reject requests to sign up for our services.
We may reject requests to sign up for Rockschool, for example, if sessions are fully booked, if you are located outside the service area, or due to unsatisfactory credit checks. If this happens, we will inform you as soon as possible and refund any payments you have made.
6. The contract will continue until the end of the Rockschool week or until terminated by us.
This contract is for the specific week of Rockschool you have booked and will end on the final day of that week unless otherwise terminated by either party under the terms outlined below.
7. You can end your contract with us (find out how).
7.1. If you wish to cancel your Rockschool booking, you must inform us in writing at [email protected]. Due to the limited number of places and the preparation involved, cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are non-refundable.
8. We’re not responsible for delays outside our control.
8.1. If Rockschool sessions are delayed or disrupted due to events outside our control, such as extreme weather, school closures, or other unforeseen circumstances, we are not liable to compensate for the missed sessions. We will, however, endeavour to reschedule or provide alternative arrangements where possible.
9. We charge you when you sign up for our services.
9.1. The full payment for Rockschool is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged (e.g., payment plans). If you sign up for Rockschool after the initial registration period, and spaces are still available, payment is due immediately upon confirmation of availability.
10. We charge interest on late payments.
If we're unable to collect any payment you owe us, we may charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from time to time.
11. We pass on increases in VAT.
If the rate of VAT changes between the date you sign up and the date we supply the service, we will adjust the VAT rate you pay, unless you have already paid in full before the change takes effect.
12. You’re responsible for making sure details you provide are accurate.
Please ensure that the details you provide, including contact information and any relevant medical or SENÂ details, are accurate and up to date.
13. We may need to charge you if you don't give us the information we need.
We may charge additional fees if you fail to provide necessary information, which causes us to incur extra costs or delays in providing the service.
14. You have a legal right to change your mind.
14.1. You have 14 days after the date we confirm your booking to change your mind and receive a full refund. However, if the Rockschool week has already begun, you will be charged for any sessions that have already been provided.
14.2. To change your mind, please contact us at [email protected]. Refunds will be processed as quickly as possible and no later than 14 days after we receive your cancellation notice.
15. You have rights if there is something wrong with your service.
If you believe there is something wrong with our service, please contact our team at [email protected]. You have several options for resolving disputes with us, as outlined in these terms.
16. WE CAN CHANGE SERVICES AND THESE TERMS.
16.1. We may make changes to our services or these terms:
- To reflect changes in laws or regulatory requirements.
- To make minor technical adjustments and improvements that do not affect your use of the service.
16.2. We will notify you of significant changes to the service or these terms, giving you the option to cancel and receive a refund for any services not yet provided.
17. WE CAN SUSPEND SUPPLY (AND YOU HAVE RIGHTS IF WE DO).
17.1. We can suspend the supply of a service to:
- Deal with technical problems or make minor technical changes.
- Update the service to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
- Make changes to the service as notified to you.
17.2. If we suspend supply for longer than 1 day, we will adjust the price so you do not pay for the service while it is suspended. If suspension exceeds 3Â days, you may cancel the contract and receive a refund for any services not provided.
18. We can withdraw services.
We can stop providing a service, and we will notify you at least 21 days in advance, refunding any payments made for services not provided.
19. We can suspend or end our contract with you.
We can suspend or end our contract with you if:
19.1. You do not make payment when it is due and do not pay within 30 days of our reminder.
19.2. You do not provide the necessary information for us to provide the service, despite reasonable requests.
20. We do not compensate you for all losses caused by us or our services.
We're responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking this contract unless the loss is:
- Unexpected (unforeseeable).
- Caused by an event outside our control.
- Avoidable (you could have taken reasonable action to avoid it).
- A business loss (our liability for any loss in connection with your trade, business, craft, or profession is limited).
21. We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Notice.

22. You have several options for resolving disputes with us.
22.1. Complaints. Our team at [email protected] will do their best to resolve any problems you have with us or our services.
22.2. You can go to court. These terms are governed by English law, and you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country where you reside. We may also claim against you in the courts of the country where you live.
23. Other important terms apply to our contract.
23.1. We can transfer our contract with you to another organisation responsible for supplying your service. We will contact you to inform you if we plan to do this. If you're unhappy with the transfer, you can contact us to end the contract within 21 days of being notified and receive a refund for any payments made for services not provided.
23.2. You can only transfer your contract with us to someone else if we agree to this. We may not agree if we have concerns about the new individual, or if we have not received sufficient information about them.
23.3. Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it, and neither of us will need to ask anyone else to sign off on ending or changing it.
23.4. If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
23.5. Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. A delay in enforcing rights or obligations does not mean we have waived them.
