As a music academy teacher you are responsible for ensuring that the following is safe:

• Your classroom
• An areas the student has been in contact with.
• Any equipment they have used of ours.
• Any door handles used.

With regards to masks we have the following rules in place:

• If you feel safer with a mask on then please wear one.
• You must wear a face mask if within 2 metres of a student.
• You must wear a face mask when travelling between classrooms or corridors.
• You must wear a face mask when in the storeroom in Class 7.

We have minimised toilet usage by only having one toilet on site which is by class 5, this is mainly for staff use.

• Please make sure you clean the toilet area after use.
• Only let students use this toilet facility if it is really needed.

Every teacher will keep a student by student cleaning checklist which will be available at the school.

This is to show proof to the school that we are remaining COVID secure in each room.

If we have a COVID case that has been present during their visit or any staff who test positive, the usual track and trace will happen, anyone with the following will need to self isolate:

• Any exposure to an individual for more than 15 minutes.
• Anyone who has been in close contact with the individual will also need to self isolate.

We will be able to continue lessons online as we have been doing going forward until the quarantine period is complete.
