INSTRUMENT LESSONS AT AMS
Sometimes after school times are just too busy to fit in even more extra curriculum activities- your full time evening taxi service is currently fully occupied!
Take advantage of day time music tuition at your children's school where students can access high quality Music Academy instrument lessons during school hours. At AMS we supply high quality 1-2-1 instrument tuition.
Music Lessons at AMS operate in the following:
- 20 minute weekly lesson.
- 1-2-1 high quality tuition.
- 5 lessons per half term.
- Work towards school skills, grading, events and performances.
Music tuition at AMS is currently at the following rate:
- £56.00 per half term.
- Payable in advance.
- Music Academy Automatic Direct Debit Payments Only.
Payments are currently all made through Music Academy's Direct Debit System.
The process is designed to make payments simple by automating the lesson fees.
Once every two months (on a pre-arrange schedule) lesson fees are automatically deducted for our lessons, on a day of the month chosen by you (1st, 15th, 28th) in the same way a utility bill is paid.
This only takes one time to setup at the start of your first block of lessons.
Students are never committed to more than one half term at a time.
Lesson take place during school time only at AMS so students who sign up will be allocated their weekly 20 minute lesson slot and parents can be notified of these times in advance to avoid missing lessons or arriving late.
Our tutors have a late policy that when a student doesn't turn up within 2 minutes, they will go and collect them from their lesson (at lunch and break times this can sometimes be tricky!) as there are only 10 hours total of tuition a year, every second counts!
We also try our best to help students avoid missing the same school lessons by rotating the timetable by 20 minutes weekly. This means that each lesson will be 20 minutes later than the previous week. However, if there is going to be an issue for your lessons, please contact us and let us know as we will switch the lesson time to help accommodate this.
Although we will do whatever we can to help prevent missing/late lessons, unfortunately we do not refund or 'owe' any lessons to any students absences.
Due to the short nature of AMS school lessons, practise is incredibly important to gaining results.
We will be releasing a full training to help parents/carers and students understand the basics of setting up a solid practise system at home to increase the chances that it happens and is as effective as possible.
All students will have a Music Academy diary which they can use to read tutor notes and track their practise frequency and duration each week.
