Rockschool is open to all children from ages reception to Year 9. Within each band group they are carefully curated to ensure a close mix of ages and abilities.

Absolutely! The beauty of Rockschool is that it's designed for all levels of musical experience. Our skill-building day is perfect for beginners, and our experienced tutors will support your child throughout the week.

We focus on three key band instruments: drums, guitar, and keyboards. However, the experience goes beyond just playing an instrument. Your child will also learn songwriting, band performance skills, and stage presence.

By the end of the Rockschool week, your child will have developed new musical skills, worked as part of a band to prepare a set-list, written, recorded and performed an original song, and participated in a final showcase performance. We believe in the power of performance to boost confidence and inspire continued musical exploration.

The safety of our students is our top priority. All our staff members are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding policies. We also have a strict policy regarding the use of devices during Rockschool, and there is always a staff member present during breaks.

Yes! We warmly invite parents, friends and family to join us for the final showcase performance. It's a fantastic opportunity to see what your child has achieved during their week at Rockschool.

Your child should bring plenty to drink to stay hydrated throughout the day, along with a snack for break times, and a packed lunch. If your child is participating in the extended day option, we have toast available, however they might want to bring an extra snack to keep energy levels up for the day's activities!
