How Subscription Works
Lesson Schedule
Your subscription covers a minimum of 33 scheduled sessions per year. In some years we can deliver up to 39 sessions, with an average of 36 across the academic year, additional lessons beyond the scheduled 33 are not charged for as they provide a buffer in case lessons are missed. If for any reason we schedule under 33 lessons across a year we will credit your account.
Payments
Payments are spread across 11 months, with no payments taken in August. This keeps costs predictable, avoids hidden extras, and guarantees at least 33 lessons each year.
Holiday Options
During school holidays, families can join our Rockschool Holiday Club for extra music experiences or take lessons at our main venue.
Missed Lessons Policy
Scheduled Lessons
Our lessons run on a set calendar across the yearand because we commit to our teachers in advance, missed lessons can’t be refunded or “owed back.” This commitment ensures our teachers have secure, regular schedules, which means they can focus fully on giving students the best experience.
Flexibility
If you can’t make a lesson, we’ll do our best to rearrange it. You can contact your teacher directly (email available in your account), or your dedicated lesson coordinator, or reach out via [email protected].
Extended Absence
If you need to step away for a longer period, we can pause your subscription so you don’t lose out.
This way, we keep our teaching team happy and consistent, which creates a better learning environment for every student.
